As much as it was eagerly awaited,

it was a wedding we as much enjoyed.

Getting family and friends under a roof

All that merry making was solid proof.

A fair mix of young and old

Reveling joyous in their fold

In events of song, dance and prayer

From the moment they landed at the foyer.

If Mehendi kept the women glued,

Mellifluous was the music that flowed.

Reception was grand with the flute;

You two were dazzling, chic and cute.

All three days, we spent in admiration

Of arrangements made, and stage decoration.

Revealing the extent of deep dedication

Your families must have spent in preparation.

Nature performed its own miraculous feat

Invoking showers to douse the oppressive heat

Allowing the diners to enjoy the mela

down to gulping Goli Soda and Calcutta Beeda!

Glad to know you follow a purpose so good

To live a life away from animal food.

May God bless you both with a life of awe

As memorable as your wedding we just saw.
