Mind body and soul

 

Pushed and pulled from side to side

By whims and wishes varied and wide

Tackling clashes of mindless mongering

Seeking rest from aimless wandering

Need a place to hide.

Eyes wake up when it's yet to dawn

Fingers count up chores for the morn

Memory shuffles many a  task

Lazy body wears a tired mask

Face laughs in yawn.

Caught in between the body and mind

Soul spins  in a spiralling wind

Frenzied rush needs slowing down

Wading carefully through path unknown

To the heaven unconfined.
