Caveat விளாம்

Liking it depends on a person’s taste
evolved or acquired as it might be
Relishing this, can’t be in haste
But it never fails to make one happy.

A small ball that can easily intoxicate
Literally on a mammoth scale
We happen to access it only now
Smashing on the floor as the palm goes pale.

A good apple keeps the doctor away
Packing the family in an affectionate glue
The wood apple sends everyone away
As its pulp is mashed to the perfect goo.

Wondering how this thing finds its route
As I begin to savour, there is just one caveat
Thank Lord Ganesha for reminding on this fruit
And break it open – the sour sweet Kaveet!
